The mini camera flash is only compatible with cameras equipped with a single-contact hot shoe. To ensure proper functionality, please confirm your camera has this specific hot shoe type before purchasing. Package includes the SL03 flash, user manual, and A-to-C charging cable. 【FUJI Camera User Note】To use the SL03 external flash, open the camera’s flash settings, set the flash function to OFF, and switch to manual mode via the rear dial. The X on the shutter speed dial indicates the max sync speed; exceeding it may result in partial or no flash exposure. Use single shooting mode—not continuous—and set the shutter to mechanical. Also, disable real-time display when using flash. If the screen appears dark, turn off “Preview exposure/white balance in manual mode”.
【What We Updated】The SL03 flash based on the SL02, has improved the recycling time, and flash times. The flash + fill light function has been added(in flash mode, a constant light auxiliary focusing light is provided). The SL03 flash provides 90° flash angle adjustment. When you are indoors with white walls or ceilings, mini flash can reflect the light from the flash, thereby dispersing the light and making the shadow transition softer, ensuring the brightness of the photo while avoiding overexposure and whitening of objects in front of the lens. (Note: Reflection effects cannot be achieved outdoors or when the ceiling is too high or the indoor space is too large.)
【Adjustable Brightness Flashlight(GN8 Flash Index)】The ULANZI mini camera flash offers 4 adjustable brightness levels (1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8) to suit various shooting scenarios, including close-up portrait shots. As a mini flash is a single-contact flash, ensure the camera’s shutter speed does not exceed 1/250s for optimal results. If your photo is white or overexposed, lower the flash brightness, or adjust other camera parameters, lowering ISO, exposure compensation, and using a small aperture.
【High-Performance Mini Flash】The ULANZI SL03 flash in the flash mode offers a GN8 flash index (ISO100), with CCT 6500 ± 5%, 97 CRI in flash mode, mini flash delivers at least 500 full-power flashes at full power(1/1); but while in the fill light mode, the fill light with 12 pcs beads, provides CCT 5600±200K, and 95 CRI, within 0.5m for 90 lumen, ensuring consistent and high-quality camera flashlight for photography. If the photos come out dark from the bottom, you need to slow down the shutter speed.
