How do i choose USB source for the strip?
The watts of the strip is about 9W-10W, the USB port need offer 5V 2A or above power, otherwise the strip will be flicker or out of control.
Is there pure white colour?
No, the white colour is mixed by red, green and blue, it is not pure. If you are looking for RGB with pure white, you need to choose RGBW or RGBCCT, not RGB only.
Can i use Alexa to control the strip?
Yes, you can. Before connect to Alexa, you need to make sure the wifi and cloud icons are both lighted up, otherwise you can not use Alexa to control it.
How can i cut the strip to 1.5m?
You can cut the strip along its cutting unit(every 5cm, copper marks in the strip); if you want to reconnect them, you can welding or using 12mm 3pins RGBIC COB Connectors.
Can i set the time for turn on/off strip?
Yes, you can achieve this function on APP at will.
USB POWERED: The working voltage of RGB lights is 5V and can be powered by any USB ports with 5V 2A or above watts(USB sources must be with 5V 2A or above, otherwise the strip can light up but can not be controlled), it can be connected to power bank, USB charger, laptop, TV, camping, RV etc. (Not included USB power adapter)
RGB+IC LIGHTING: OULARA USB RGB Smart IC COB LED with 40ICs, it can display muitiple colours simutaneously, and support segement control, while normal RGB tape lights wihout IC can show only one colour in the same time.
